Open days are seasonally held to showcase the fruits of our residents labour but the area around the polytunnel wasn’t large enough to accommodate visitors.  Also, there was not enough space for our residents to relax after their days work.  The area behind the polytunnel was a perfect space but it was waterlogged.

We undertook, for our residents benefit, to drain the area and put up suitable fencing.  After the works had been completed, an open day was held to show the improvements.  The residents also held a fundraising raffle on the day to raise funds for tools to continue their good work.
