It gets pretty cold here in Ballarat so in August to help keep ourselves warm, we held an old fashioned Bush Dance.
The employees and residents got into the spirit of the occasion and dressed up with cowboy hats, shirts, some wore cowboy boots and one person even brought their whip.
The room was decorated with colourful lights, bunting, swags of gum leaves and cowboy outfits.
For the entertainment we had bush ballads, boot scooting line dance demonstration, lots of good music, dancing, laughter and a good old fashioned afternoon tea.
A fantastic time was had by all.
