We have an in-house Activities team who work with each floor daily, providing fun and stimulating activities for all our residents. There is a weekly Coffee Morning every Friday which is very popular with residents and visitors alike. There are baking sessions, film watching, arts & crafts, sing alongs, card games, quizzes and even weekly trips out. For special occasions such as St. Patricks Day, St. Georges Day, Christmas and Easter, festivities are organised for all residents to take part in.

Nazareth House Hammersmith is a care home registered by CQC to care for 95 residents requiring both residential and nursing care. It was opened by the Congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth in 1857, Nazareth House, Hammersmith has remained at the heart of the community in Hammersmith ever since.

Set in beautiful grounds, Nazareth House offers care people over the age of 65 who need social and nursing support to maintain their quality of life in later years. Our Nursing and Care staff are trained to respond with compassion and patience in a respectful manner and are supported by community clinical specialists who provide advice and training for staff who assist clients with specific or complex needs. This includes Palliative care and Dementia care. At Nazareth House we benefit from having a beautiful Chapel which is used daily, food which is prepared on site, daily activities, visiting hairdresser and attached GP.

During a recent Inspection report when asked for their thoughts on Nazareth House, Hammersmith one person told us it was “absolutely excellent in every possible way”.

It was said that people received care that met their individual needs because the provider ensured their needs were properly assessed, risks identified and strategies put in place to reduce the risk.
