We strive to create a home from home environment and encourage Residents to personalise their rooms with photos or items from home. We support the Resident and their family during this difficult transition.
Nazareth House Sligo acknowledge the sense of loss that some residents experience when they can no longer live independently in their own home. We aim to maximise each resident’s level of independence and ability.
We encourage our resident’s to live life to the full and become involved in the daily activity programme. We work alongside local community agencies to integrate our nursing home with our local community facilities.
The Nursing Homes Support Scheme, also known as the “Fair Deal” scheme is a scheme of financial support for people who need long term residential care services.
