Allied Services

A team of allied health specialists function from our House to provide a range of clinical expertise such as Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Occupational Therapy and Podiatrists. Residents are encouraged and supported to use allied health specialists of their choice. All care recipients are assessed on entry for mobility and dexterity by our Physiotherapist and are re-assessed regularly.

Pharmacy

The House offers Pharmacy service to ensure resident’s medications are provided and in addition offer pharmacy expertise. Care recipients are able to order preferred toiletries and other pharmacy items on request.

Dentist

Dental services are available for all care recipients.

Medical Practitioner

Care recipients have access to the medical services of a medical practitioner. Care recipients may choose to retain their current medical practitioner.

Hairdressing

Nazareth House provides a hairdressing salon with a visiting hairdresser. The cost of this is the responsibility of the care recipient. Ask the care employees if you would like to make an appointment for the hairdresser. Prices are available on request.

Shop

The Sisters and volunteers operate the Kiosk which sells basic toiletry items, biscuits, sweets, drinks, ice creams, snacks and gift items.
