Alison Carroll & Allyson Jackson attended the Awards Ceremony on the 15th May to receive our Step Into Quality Award, which is now proudly in place in the nursery’s reception area.

Step into quality is an access route to the Lancashire Quality Award. It provides an opportunity for practitioners (staff members) to spend focused time looking at what they do everyday considering which parts work well and which could be improved upon.

The six ‘steps’ are Environment, Interactions, Routines, Key Person, parents and Leadership & Management. By reflecting on our practice within theses areas this has supported staff development and has also had a positive impact on the services we provide in our setting.
